Virat Kohli becomes the 5th Indian who achieve the special milestone
Virat Kohli reaches a special feat on the 3rd day of the 4th test series between Australia and India. He scored 42 runs and became the fifth Indian who reached at 4000 run mark on home soil in tests.
He achieves the special milestone by scoring 42 runs and becoming part of the elite test of Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, and Sunil Gavaskar.
When Kohli take stepped onto the field of the cricket stadium, the Indian batter made the 50th cricket test appearance in India. He became 3rd active and 13th Indian by being featured in a minimum of 50 tests for india at home. Only the ravichandran ashwin and cheteshwar puja are active Indians to play over 50 tests at home.
Pujari played his 50th cricket test when he took the field in the previous Indore match, whereas Ashwin played his 55th test in Ahmedabad.
