So it's the Battle between Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. Both teams after playing 8 matches have been able to win 4 out of it. Peshawar Zalmi in their previous match even after scoring 240 runs lost the match by 8 wickets. On batting first they scored 240 runs, Saim Ayub once again was outstanding at the start of the innings as he scored 74 runs knock at just 34 balls and then their Skipper Babar Azam scored a brilliant hundred of 115 runs because of which Peshawar Zalmi set the total of 241 runs and it was a very good score to defend but Jason Roy had other plans as his knock of 145 runs took the game away from Peshawar Zalmi as the opponent chased down the total with 10 balls to spare. On the other hand Multan Sultans also even after scoring over 200 runs lost the match. On batting first Shan Masood scored a 75 runs knock and then Tim David attacking innings of 60 runs at a strike rate of over 220 helped Multan Sultans to reach at the score of 205 runs. But it was a close match and the bowlers tried well but in the end were not able to defend the target. Both teams need to work on their bowling.
