The 25th match of the Pakistan Super League 2023, will be played between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators at Pindi Club Ground, Rawalpindi on 8th March. Peshawar Zalmi won their previous match defeating table toppers Lahore Qalandars by 35 runs, on batting first although they got all-out but before that their batters exploited the condition with 207 runs on board, it was a good tactical decision to promote Saim Ayub to open the innings as he proved the decision right by scoring 68 runs and on the other hand their skipper Babar Azam also played a knock of 50 runs then Kohler Cadmore attacking innings of 36 runs helped Peshawar Zalmi to reach over 200 runs. While defending the total Bowlers started well as inside powerplay they picked up 4 wickets all thanks to Wahab Raiz and Arshad Iqbal both picked up 3 wickets each as Peshawar Zalmi won the match. On the other hand Quetta Gladiators also won their previous match as bowling first restricted the opponent to 164 runs, Naseem Shah and Aimal Khan both picked up 2 wickets each. On Chasing the target it was Martin Guptill 86 runs knock which single handedly sealed the match for Quetta Gladiators. They will try to continue their winning form as the equation for them is simple now or never.
