Talking about Mumbai Indians the Five time champions are known as slow starters and in their opening match against RCB they lost the match one-sided by 8 wickets. On batting first Mumbai Indians in the first 9 overs were at 48/4 but because of an outstanding performance by their rising star Tilak Verma who stood at one end and scored brilliant unbeaten knock of 84 runs helped Mumbai Indians to reach a reasonable total of 171 runs but this was not enough and also Mumbai Indians Bowlers looking looking ineffective as till 14th over they were wicketless and hence lost the match.
