On the other hand Punjab Kings lost the match against Lucknow as bowling first conceded a record high total of 257 runs which was the second highest total in the history of IPL. All the bowlers had no answer. In the second innings their Openers got out early but youngster Atharva Taide was brilliant as he scored his first fifty of his IPL career but the target was huge and in the end Punjab Kings fell short of 56 runs. There is a big challenge ahead of Punjab Kings as they face the Chennai Super Kings at Chennai where teams face difficulty to defeat CSK.
