Match 29, Islamabad United Vs Peshawar Zalmi
The 29th match of the Pakistan Super League 2023, will be played between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi at Pindi Club Ground, Rawalpindi on 12th March. Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi both teams will be playing their last game of the league matches. Islamabad United to be in the top two position needs to win this match or else if Multan Sultan wins their match they will be in the second position of the points table. Peshawar zalmi just need to win the match or even if they lose they would try that they would not lose with a big margin because if they lose with a big margin then Quetta Gladiators can qualify if they win their last match by a big margin. It's an important game for both of the sides with respect to their qualification scenario. Islamabad United would try and improve their batting as in the previous match after conceding 226 runs all out at the score of just 107 runs. Peshawar Zalmi lost their previous two matches in very similar form as after scoring over 240 runs in the 1st innings lost the match as Bowlers twice conceded runs and were not able to defend the target. Both teams need to improve in their bowling to win Matches.
