The 38th Match of the Indian Premier League(IPL) 2023, will be played between Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali on 28th April. So in the previous match Punjab Kings defeated Mumbai Indians at their home as on batting first scored 214 runs, all the batters got start but Harpreet Singh and the skipper Sam Curran build a good partnership and in the end Jitesh Sharma 25 runs in just 7 balls handed Punjab Kings to a good finish. In the second innings the match was perfectly set but then Arshdeep Singh 2 stump breaking balls shifted the game towards Punjab as they won by 13 runs. Shikhar Dhawan's condition is getting better and he is expected to return to the team. On the other hand Lucknow Super Giants were not able to chase 136 runs target, although KL Rahul scored 68 runs but in 61 balls at a strike rate of just 111. At a moment Lucknow score was at 105 for a loss of 1 wicket but then they lost the match by 7 runs. Lucknow will be happy that they would move out of the Slow Pitch of Lucknow and they will enjoy Mohali Surface.
