The 45th Match of the Indian Premier League(IPL) 2023, will be played between Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings at Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow on 3rd May. Lucknow Super Giants have very less time to recover from their last defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore and it was not just a defeat, all the verbal fight after the match has impacted the team mindset. In the previous match bowling first restricted RCB to 126 runs but in the second innings lost 4 wickets in the powerplay and in the end lost the match by 18 runs. Still both the teams are in good position as they have won 5 matches out of 9 Played. For Lucknow their task would be difficult as on the difficult surface against the Chennai Super Kings and that too without their Captain KL Rahul.
