IPL 2023: Chennai Super Kings Vs Lucknow Super Giants, 6th Match
CSK VS LSG, Pitch Report, Playing 11, Can Chennai Rule in their home again?
The 6th Match of the Indian Premier League(IPL) 2023, will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Lucknow Super Giants at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on 3rd April. So after almost 3 years Chennai Super Kings will be playing a match at their fortress which in the past teams have faced difficulty to win against Csk at their home. Chennai Super Kings lost their first match against Gujarat Titans as on batting first they scored 178 runs, all thanks to Ruturaj Gaikwad for his brilliant 92 runs in the opening game but apart from him wickets kept falling on the other hand as it was a good batting surface. Chennai bowling was looking weak from the start all were saying but the first match defeat justified this as bowlers were not able to defend the target. Rajvardhan Hangargekar picked up 3 wickets on his debut but their impact player Tushan Deshpande leaked runs and Chennai needed to add a 6th bowling option. On the other hand Lucknow Super Giants won their opening match comfortably by 50 runs as on batting first they scored 193 runs on difficult batting conditions, Kyle Mayers was amazing in his debut match with his 73 runs knock in just 38 balls and Nicholas Pooran also played a good knock of 36 runs. While defending the target Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi both picked up 2 wickets each but it was Mark Wood's deadly pace that destroyed the opponent with his 5 wicket haul giving just 14 runs because of which Lucknow Super Giants won the match.
